A quick tutorial

In this tutorial, we will show you how easy it is to activate a contact closure output in our device with payment. In fact, this functionality has many real-world applications. For example, in arcade machines, you can activate them after confirming payment, allowing you to use cashless methods to play your favorite games.

Moreover, this solution is perfect for modernizing applications and providing a seamless, cashless payment method. We have a fun example that demonstrates how simple it is to activate a contact closure output with payment using our MDB-USB Plus.*

*Please note that this version is currently unavailable. We invite you to explore our latest and improved interface, the MDB-USB Ultra, for even greater functionality and performance.

What You Will Learn
Configuration
Firstly, the reader is connected to an internet connection and a power supply, and it outputs an MDB cable to the MDB-USB Interface.
The bus powers the interface, so no additional connections are necessary. At this point, by running our AUTO command, the reader remains idle and waits for payment.
Process
When you present a credit card or a mobile phone with mobile payment capabilities (like Apple Pay), the reader confirms payment to the interface.
This, in turn, activates the relay that can be connected to any application or system you may need.
Possibilities
You can use this setup to turn a turnstile with payment, open a door, or play an arcade machine like pinball.
Essentially, anything that can be activated through a contact closure can utilize this solution.
What You Will Need

MDB-USB Ultra;

Payment peripheral (credit card reader or mobile payment);

Contact closure device (we are using a toy to exemplify this).
