What You Will Learn
Configuration
In MDB Master Mode, your interface (either the MDB-USB Interface or MDB Pi Hat) connects a computer (MacOS, Linux, or Windows) or a micro-controller (such as Raspberry Pi or others) to the bus and, by extension, to MDB peripherals.
Advantages
This setup is ideal for building modern vending machines with MDB peripherals like coin/bill acceptors and credit card readers.

Communication
The interface sends "messages" to the peripherals (also known as Slaves), to check for any status changes. For example, it can ask, "Was any money inserted?" or "Are there any credit cards being presented?".
The peripherals respond only when requested by the Master, which in this case is your Qiba interface.
What You Will Need

MDB-USB interface (Standard or Ultra) or MDB Pi Hat (USB or Plus);

MDB peripherals (coin/bill acceptors, card readers, etc.);

Active bus.
