What You Will Learn
Configuration
It's important to note that the Raspberry Pi and MDB Pi Hat are used in Peripheral mode so we can log and monitor the information on the bus.
This setup allows for seamless integration and real-time monitoring.
Connection
To start, connect your machine’s bus to our MDB-USB Interface and to the palm reader controller via USB.
Note that this controller needs no programming, just a simple configuration. As a result, you can get your palm controlled coffee machine up and running quickly.
Scanning
When the machine is waiting for credit, instead of inserting money or presenting a credit card or mobile phone, simply place your palm above the reader.
The palm reader controller immediately scans your palm, approves the payment, and voilá! You can now choose your coffee product with just a wave of your hand.
What You Will Need
